James Mitri
Professional cyclist
James Mitri’s journey began in the pro peloton—racing against the best in the world across some of cycling’s most iconic WorldTour events.
But behind the scenes, James always had an eye on the bigger picture: the business, the partnerships, the strategy that fuels elite sport.
In 2021, he founded Global 6 United, his own professional cycling team—bringing together athletes from across the world under one united, purpose-driven banner. It was more than a team; it was proof that with vision and commercial clarity, anything is possible in modern cycling.
As James transitioned from athlete to entrepreneur, he quickly became a trusted consultant for WorldTour teams, global brands, and fellow pros and influencers—helping others secure partnerships, grow their personal brands, and navigate the complex world of sports business.
That experience sparked a bigger idea. One that led to the launch of DigitalSportsIQ—a performance-led agency built for the modern era of sport.
With the athlete’s mindset, commercial acumen, and a global network across the cycling world, James now helps brands, riders, and rights holders unlock their full potential through strategy, content, partnerships, and more.
He’s lived it. Now he builds it.
Gedi Tamenas, co-founder with James, brings a down-to-earth vibe from cycling’s community roots.
As COO, CTO, and Sales lead, he manages operations, sparks tech innovation, and grows clients with a personal touch. His cycling journey started a few years ago when he joined local rider clubs, diving into the vibrant world of cycling. He began renting bikes for group rides, then took on preparing them—tuning frames and making them race-ready.
Driven by a need for value, Gedi mastered sourcing great deals on parts from niche suppliers, building custom bikes on a tight budget that matched pro quality. This hands-on start fueled his interest in optimization, from tracking ride data to streamlining logistics for local clubs.
